Art gels, solid gels, carving gels, and textured gels are intermediate layers, not finish layers.
These products are formulated for:

• detailed artwork
• textured and dimensional designs
• controlled sculptural elements

Because these gels are often applied in uneven, raised, or highly detailed layers, achieving a complete surface cure can be more challenging than with standard colour gels.

For this reason, all art and textured designs must be sealed with a compatible top coat.

Why Sealing Is Required?
Sealing art and textured gels with a compatible top coat:

• Ensures full surface polymerisation
• Protects the design from wear, staining, and environmental exposure
• Improves durability and long-term performance
• Creates a smooth, non-reactive finish suitable for wear
• Helps maintain both the integrity of the design and wearer comfort

Simply put:
Art gels, solid gels, carving gels, and textured gels are not designed to be worn exposed.
They must always be sealed as part of correct professional application.

• Always perform a cure test with your current UV/LED lamp before use.
• For professional use only.
• Intended for application to the nail plate only.

Curing Safety Notice
All UAS Art and Function Gels are formulated for use with professional UV/LED lamps operating within the 365–405 nm wavelength range.
Always:

• Apply thin, controlled layers
• Cure each layer fully
• Use a compatible professional lamp
• Correct lamp selection is essential to ensure full polymerisation, optimal performance, and safe professional use.
• Avoid skin contact and wear gloves during application.

Recommended Curing Time

• Cure for 60–120 seconds per layer in a professional UV/LED lamp (365–405 nm).
• Thicker, textured, or highly pigmented designs may require longer curing times.
• Curing performance may vary depending on:
• lamp wavelength and output (mW/cm²)
• layer thickness
• pigment density
• design complexity
• Always ensure full cure before proceeding.
